General Statement
The European Policy Centre (EPC) is a well established independent, not-for-profit think tank, committed to making European integration work. The EPC works at the ‘cutting edge’ of European and global policy-making providing its members and the wider public with rapid, high-quality information and analysis on the EU and global policy agenda. It aims to promote a balanced dialogue between the different constituencies of its membership, spanning all aspects of economic and social life. In line with its multi-constituency approach, members of the EPC comprise companies, professional and business federations, trade unions, diplomatic missions, regional and local bodies, as well as NGOs representing a broad range of civil society interests, foundations, international and religious organisations. EPC believes in full transparency in relation to its activities. EPC is established as an international not-for-profit organisation (association international sans but lucratif – AISBL). Areas of work
The EPC works on the basis of a three-year strategic programme, which is decided in the Governing Board, following a strategic review. Presently, four main areas have been identified for long-term analysis:
• European Politics and Institutions,
• European Migration and Diversity,
• Europe’s Political Economy and Europe in the World.
